Heat your water phase to the same temperature, then combine phases and mix with moderate to high shear until the emulsion forms. Viscosity will build as the batch cools. Target a final pH of 4.5–7. Add heat-sensitive ingredients during cool-down below 40 °C (104 °F). Compatible with most common cosmetic ingredients, including silicones, botanical extracts, and proteins.
