How to Use AccessCIDE MS-G3 in Your Formulations
Understanding AccessCIDE MS-G3
Any product that contains water needs a preservative to prevent harmful bacteria, mold, and yeast from growing. AccessCIDE MS-G3 is your natural security guard for this job. It’s not a single ingredient but a smart blend of plant extracts and fermented ingredients that work together to protect your formula.
For the technically minded, the key component is Lactobacillus Ferment. Much like probiotics used for gut health, this ferment produces antimicrobial peptides that inhibit the growth of unwanted microbes. Combined with the natural antimicrobial power of Garlic Extract and the antioxidant benefits of Green Tea (Camellia Sinensis) Extract, plus Yeast Ferment and Coconut-derived components, the blend delivers broad-spectrum preservation while remaining gentle and supportive to skin. The result is a robust, clean-label system that aligns with modern formulation principles.
Formulation Tips
Use AccessCIDE MS-G3 at 2–4% of your total formula. Choose the higher end (~4%) for water-rich or botanically dense formulas, and the lower end (~2%) for simpler emulsions.
Add during the cool-down phase below 40°C (104°F) to protect heat-sensitive fermented components. Stir gently into your emulsion or aqueous base after it has formed and cooled.
Effective across pH 4–7, compatible with most common cosmetic ingredients. As with any preservative system, perform microbial challenge testing on the final formulation to confirm efficacy.
