Fantasy Mirror achieves its exceptionally high reflectivity through real Silver (CI 77820) deposited on calcium aluminum borosilicate glass flakes. Unlike interference-based silvers that create the illusion of metallic through thin-film optics, Fantasy Mirror uses actual silver metal to produce a true mirror-like reflection. The result is an opaque, intensely metallic silver that resembles liquid mercury or a polished mirror surface.
The 40–220 μm particle range provides a mix of medium and large flakes. The larger particles create dramatic mirror-like reflection points, while smaller particles fill in to provide more continuous metallic coverage. The Acrylates Copolymer encapsulation protects the silver coating from oxidation and improves long-term stability in cosmetic formulations.
